    This is my second one. We have it outside the garage door exposed to the elements yearound ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxreK_FUQ74_bylFqCr3y2MHqL3u78-b3r Direct sunlight deteriorated the plastic on the thermostat and severe winds blew the lid off. Just bought this e-310 used at an estate sale. This old e-310 Weber grill doesn't have any rust on the body anywhere except the burners aren't all shiny and new looking, but they aren't rusted out either. Good job Weber for making an excellent quality gas grill! Anyway, Thanks for making this video Steve. The igniter is the only thing NOT functioning because the battery exploded inside. Your video is still relevant 11 years later. Weber doesn't make it easy to find the igniter parts for their old grills. My igniter has the part number 1819-51 on it, but Weber's website doesn't have it listed anywhere on their website. There are lots of Chinese knock offs on Amazon. I'll give Weber a call before I buy a cheap knock off since the old one lasted so long. Besides Weber deserves our business even if it's just ordering a part. I'll definitely only buy Webers going forward! Again, thanks for the great video Steve! Appreciate the time and effort you put into making it! Cheers!

      @SteveHowardPhotography Рік тому

      Thanks, Doug, I agree, I'm not sure why they make it so difficult to find the correct part. I have however, found their customer support line very helpful. That's how I finally found the correct igniter. And I completely agree about the Weber Quality. I had some Big Box grills before I bought the one in the video. Sold it maybe 5 years later when I upgraded to a larger Summit. Webers just last! Glad the old video helped, Doug!

    I have a dessert willow in my back yard here in Arizona and it’s 15’ tall, I thinned it before this week, cut all the lower branches too like you would the typical crape myrtle, and TWO pesky things about this tree is the seeds drop and then you have trees trying to grow around it and they are messy! Good thing though, one of these trees got for big money just for a five gallon tree. I now have 3 good size trees from this one tree that I planted on the east side of my house for shade lol

    This was perfect Steve, and very helpful and timely....so my igniter has the clicking sound, but doesn't ignite.....should I replace it, or possibly something has gotten loose? FYI...it was in the back of a pickup truck a couple of times and got banged around....the igniter was working fine before it was borrowed :(

    • @SteveHowardPhotography
      @SteveHowardPhotography Рік тому

      Hi David- First thing would be to check the battery compartment for corrosion. Many times that's all it is. Clean with a little steel wool or small tool, replace the battery and you should be good. If it's clicking though it could be the igniter and I would try a replacement if the terminal cleaning didn't help. I would also check for loose or disconnected wires too. I hope this helps a little.
